Sorella Cycling's mission is to foster a supportive and open environment for women of all ages and abilities to ride their bicycles for fitness, recreation and racing. Our founding members are a group of talented women, both on and off our bicycles, who want to support and promote community in a women's cycling club. Our veteran riders and racers conduct women's cycling clinics including skills, safety, and maintenance and provide mentoring to our members. Members participate in several weekly group rides, frequent road and mountain bike races, and community service events. Join Sorella!

Julie Gazmararian sets new record at the Heart of the South 500 - RAAM Qualifier

Julie rode 517 miles which included 24 hours of strong storms, to set a new record for the 20-51 female solo classification. The event took her 44 hours to complete. Congrats, Julie! Now go take a nap, Julie!

Sorella Feeds the Homeless at Central Night Shelter

On Wednesday, March 6th the women of Sorella Cycling provided dinner and sack lunches to 70 homeless men at Central Night Shelter in downtown Atlanta. The dinner consisted of fried chicken (a crowd pleaser), sweet potato casserole, cornbread, a colorful salad, fruit and homemade dessert. Julie "RAAM qualified" Gazmararian wins the 12-hour Tour de Fort Road Race and sets a course record!

Julie Gazmararian won the Tour de Fort at Fort Gordon, GA. In the process she set a new record for mileage (196 miles) in the women's division. Congrats, Julie!

Another weekend of racing! The race team was in full swing again at the Sandy Springs Omnium. The weekend consisted of a time trial (tt), road race (rr), and a criterium (crit). Three races over a span of two days is very hard for any athlete and this weekend tested not only our physical stamina, but our mental strength as well.
