Women's
Only Monday Night Ride
Monday evenings @ 6:30pm
Meet @ the
OLD Avondale Pizza location:
between Skip's Hotdogs (48 N
Avondale Rd) and Finders Keeper Clothing (84 N Avondale Rd)
It is that time of year
again...Monday Night Recovery ride is in full swing. This is a no drop ride and beginners are welcome - however, as
someone who is beginning to ride you should be able to ride your bike
in a straight line, be comfortable riding around others, and clip in
and out of your pedals, if you have clipless pedals. This is not to
discourage new riders to come out and ride, but please practice riding
your bike and be comfortable riding in a group setting. We will average
around 12-14 mph for the ride. Please check the map
to make sure you have to correct meeting location!
Peachtree
Bikes - Women's
Only Ride
Wednesday evenings @ 6:30pm
Meet behind Peachtree Bikes in Buckhead
We will start at 6:30 PM from the
parking lot behind Peachtree Bikes. For those new to the ride, the
course is about 21 miles and hilly. This is not a beginner ride,
however, with that said, there are several places along the route that
we do regroup after some long climbs. The speed is about 15 mph.
Consider it a social training ride, with 4 good places to practice your
climbing skills, including the Northside Hill and Olympic Hill. The
ride is a lot of fun, and frequently there is a group that stays for
dinner afterwards.
Gwinnett
- Women's Only Recovery Ride
Wedenesday evenings @ 6:30 pm
Meet: Grayson, GA Map
- in the Kroger parking lot, behind the
McDonalds
This is a no drop ride and beginners are welcome - however, as someone
who is beginning to ride you should be able to ride your bike in a
straight line, be comfortable riding around others, and clip in and out
of your pedals, if you have clipless pedals. This is not to discourage
new riders to come out and ride, but please practice riding your bike
and be comfortable riding in a group setting. We will average around
12-15 mph for the ride and yes, there are a few hills on the ride. A
road bike is required for this group ride.
If you would like to help lead
this ride at some point we are looking for ride leaders! We will have a
sign up and talk soon. Meet in the Kroger parking lot off of Hwy 20
& Rosebud Rd- behind the McDonalds, but in the big Kroger parking
lot. Please bring enough water and food to keep yourself fueled and
hydrated
on the ride!
